Slash and Cast

Slash and Cast is a podcast about Dungeons & Dragons, the role playing game from Wizards of the Coast.

This show will feature discussion of the game including recent gaming sessions, commentary on content from D&D news sources, sharing recaps of recent gaming sessions, and who knows what else…

A quick recap of the genesis of this show:

• I played D&D in the early 80′s.
• I quit for a long time, but kept my eye on the progression of the game. Work, starting a family, etc. No time for games.
• A friend recently recommended the D&D podcasts featuring the guys from Penny Arcade, PvP, and Wil Wheaton. Hearing the gameplay got me excited to roll some dice.
• I am now playing at my local hobby shop, starting to play in a home group with some good friends, and have some of my kids digging it.

Being a life-long broadcaster and early adopter of podcasting, I thought hey, let’s do a show! Thanks to technology, keeping up with D&D and playing with others has never been easier or more fun.
