Hey Andrew,
Thanks for the kind words about our show. I’ve listened to all four episodes, and I dig hearing about your adventures at your local hobby shop. I was especially gladdened to hear that you had an awesome, nearly dice-less session. Those kinds of role-playing sessions are few and far between, but they always memorable.
When the “game” part of “role-playing game” gets set aside occasionally, you get a real appreciation for the depth of our hobby.
Keep up the good work.
Hey Andrew, let me say too thanks for the great “shout-out” for our show, we all really appreciate it.
great content, great show. I’m addicted to tiny adventures as well. As a side note, you can TOTALLY use a tiny adventure as a basic template for a gaming session. like, if you ware wondering what to do with your character, why not send them to the “Lair of the fire lord” or whatever it’s called? good times, and a fun app.
I just read that Ars Technica article on Saturday. I too am very excited about the possibility of google wave as a RP format, but it will probably take some time. I’m hoping that WotC will make a dedicated 4e app for it, as that would definitely make it a lot easier!
Excellent cast again, Anthony. Thanks for the shoutout. You should look at Fantasy Grounds as an online app. I use an old version of it (so I don’t have to pay) and it works decently as an all-in-one system.
What would be best is if the D+D ‘Game Table’ App for D+D Insiders comes out. They were originally working on a prototype online game-table at one point, but I haven’t heard anything about it since then.
